People kept asking when a Windows version would ship. You can download the installer from reflo.io.kr now.
People kept asking when a Windows version would ship. You can download the installer from reflo.io.kr now.
Before you install
- It runs on 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 are not supported.
- There are separate installers for a regular PC (Intel/AMD, 64-bit) and a Snapdragon laptop (ARM64). Pick the one that matches your computer on the download page.
- WebView2, which draws the window, is already on most current Windows PCs. If it is missing, the installer downloads it.
How to install
- Download the Windows installer from the download page.
- After installing, open REFLO and choose the folder where you usually save your work.
- Versions start stacking the moment you save inside that folder.
- The Photoshop and Illustrator panels are in the installer. They register when you open REFLO, so you do not download a plugin from the download page.
After the folder is set, saving in that folder is enough to keep versions.
Folder history matches the Mac app
Saving in a chosen folder builds a timeline the same way it does on Mac. The virtual drive in Finder does not exist in Explorer yet.
- Save in the folder you chose, and versions stack on their own.
- Compare is one mode on the free plan (split). Pro has four: split, overlay, heatmap, and blink.
- Some versions store only what changed, which uses less space. Not every version is that small.
- Photoshop and Illustrator can open and restore a version from the panel.
- Other files in that folder get a history too, including Premiere, After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. There is no panel for those apps yet.
What the free plan includes
You can try folder history without paying.
| Free | |
|---|---|
| History kept | Last 14 days |
| Work folders | 1 |
| Backups you save yourself | 5 per month |
| Versions you mark as important | 5 |
| Versions per file | Up to 200 |
| Compare | Split only |
Pro is for keeping history longer than 14 days, using the other compare modes, and splitting a file into branches. Storing versions in the cloud is not part of Pro. You add that subscription after Pro.
Questions
I use both Mac and Windows. Do I pay again?
No. The subscription follows the account, not the kind of computer. If you already have Pro on a Mac, including a subscription from the App Store, sign in with the same account on Windows and Pro applies there too.
You can register 1 computer on Free, 3 on Pro, and 5 on Team. You are usually signed in on one computer at a time. If you also register a computer just for storage, two can stay signed in. Signing in on another computer can sign the previous working computer out.
History that exists only on one computer does not follow you. If you subscribe to cloud storage, a computer signed in to the same account can open the versions you uploaded.
I already use the Mac app. Can I bring that history to Windows?
History stored only on that Mac does not move over by itself. If you use cloud storage, signing in with the same account shows the versions that are already in the cloud.
Why did Windows come later?
Mac came first, and Windows followed once that was stable. If something feels rough on Windows, tell me.
If you are on a Mac
If a teammate or a freelancer works on Windows, they can install REFLO and keep versions in their own folder. Working in one shared folder together is not ready yet.
If something feels off on Windows, please say so. It shipped later than the Mac app, so there is more to smooth out.
