REFLO 0.1.0-beta.11 update

REFLO Team2026. 7. 26. 오후 6:335 min read

Version crossfade playback, timeline and search stability, large-file saves and history deletion improvements — news on the REFLO 0.1.0-beta.11 update.

Hello, this is REFLO.

This beta update focused on two things.

  1. Features that make it easier and more intuitive to look through versions
  2. Stability work to make the timeline and history more trustworthy

We'll walk through each one.

You can now play back versions

When you're working, files pile up as _final_v2, _final_v3… You've probably opened them one by one to see what changed where.

You don't need to do that anymore. Pick a version on the timeline and crossfade playback now eases from one version to the next. Like watching a short video, you can see at a glance how the comps evolved over time.

  • Play right from the timeline or the preview
  • View them larger in a dedicated window or full screen
  • Stitch saved thumbnails together for smooth playback

We fixed the timeline looking unexpectedly narrowed

Have you opened the app to see your full work history, only to find it narrowed down to a single file? This update fixes that.

The cause was search state. Previously, a search that had narrowed you down to a file would still be there after you quit and relaunched, so the timeline looked stuck on that one file. Search now lasts only while the app is open, and when you reopen it you start from the full history again.

We also cleaned this up so the timeline doesn't narrow unexpectedly when you arrive via a link from another screen, or through a connection from an external app. Moving from the full flow, into a single file, and back out again feels much more natural.

We made history more trustworthy

So saving large files no longer leaves a broken version

When saving a large PSD in Photoshop and similar apps, REFLO would sometimes take a snapshot before the save had finished, which could leave a broken version. It now waits until file size and modification time have settled, then records the version—so it only stores the file after the save is fully done.

So deleting a file's history actually sticks

There were cases where you deleted a file's history and older versions still showed on the timeline. It now checks that local history was actually deleted, and cleans up the cloud versions stored alongside it too.

How to update

If you already use REFLO, just tap Check for Updates in the app and you'll go straight to beta.11.

If you're installing for the first time, get the macOS DMG from the download page.

We'd love your feedback

If anything felt off while using the beta, or you have an idea for "I wish it did this," tell us from Settings → Support in the app, or at [support@reflo.app](mailto:support@reflo.app). We'll fold it into the next update.
