Adobe plugin stability, cloud and external SSD integration, Premiere panel UI cleanup — news on the REFLO 0.1.0-beta.12 update.
Hello, this is REFLO.
This beta update focused on three things.
- Making version lists and restore more reliable in the Adobe plugins (Photoshop · Illustrator · Premiere)
- Making cloud history and external SSD integration more trustworthy
- Bringing the Premiere panel in line with the same layout as the other plugins
We'll walk through each one.
We fixed version lists not showing up in Adobe plugins
There were cases where you opened the Photoshop, Illustrator, or Premiere panel and history was empty, or the list sat frozen for a long time.
The cause was preview requests staying locked inside the REFLO app, which blocked the path the plugin uses to fetch the version list. It was especially noticeable when there was a lot of history on an external SSD.
In this update we made preview handling lighter and cut unnecessary disk searches so plugin lists show up again right away.
We reduced cases where Restore failed in Premiere
When restoring a cloud-only version from the Premiere panel, it would sometimes fail in a way that looked like a token error.
REFLO now reconnects on its own when the cloud session is dropped, then continues the restore. The same improvement applies to app settings, client sharing, and plugin restore flows.
> If restore still fails, please check your account and cloud connection once in REFLO Settings.
For anyone keeping history on an external SSD
On macOS, if external SSD path permissions (bookmarks) dropped intermittently, REFLO would sometimes use an almost-empty folder as the history store. Records could look like they had vanished from the timeline.
Now, even if bookmark resolution fails, we keep using the path if it is actually accessible, and we write the resolution result to Logs/history_folder_resolve.log. We worked on this so history continues more reliably for people working from an external SSD.
We matched the Premiere panel header to Illustrator
We cleaned up the top of the Premiere REFLO panel into the same two-line layout as Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Line 1:
REFLO+ aconnectedbadge - Line 2: the project filename (
.prproj)
The tabs and ≡ menu at the very top of the panel are Premiere's own UI, so we can't move those, but the body header below them now matches the other plugins.
Other polish
- Figma integration: improvements to thumbnails and previews, filter toasts, and API rate limits
- Cleanup of the timeline track list UI
Adobe plugins included in this build
When you install from the DMG, the following plugins ship with REFLO.
- Photoshop UXP
- Illustrator CEP
- Premiere UXP
After you update REFLO, quit your Adobe apps once and reopen them, then check the panels.
How to update
If you already use REFLO, just tap Check for Updates in the app and you'll go straight to beta.12.
If you're installing for the first time, get the macOS (Apple Silicon) DMG from the download page.
